A nice little 7 minute video from Barn, it illustrates excellent axe-handling skills. Barn prefers a long-handled hollowing knife typically called a Twca cam... mostly attributed to a Welsh-style of carving, but this style of knife is seen in lots of other places as well.

This is a photo of the kitchen wall at Sätergläntan craft school in Sweden. These serving spoons get used everyday for every meal in their dining room... some are 30 years old!
